‘There are no strangers here, only friends you haven’t yet met’
– WB Yeats
The Charity is open Monday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm for anyone wanting to drop in and see what we have to offer to all who have been affected by breast cancer. Have a guided tour of the facilities, obtain information and support in a non – medical and comfortable environment.
It’s a very informal way for those new to the Charity to come and visit us and find out more about what we do, the services we offer and how we can help you or you can help us. On the rare occasion we can’t help directly we often know from our own experience who can and will act as a supportive link.
We do provide information but we do not give medical advice or recommendations, or discuss treatments.
Come and make use of our resource library; we hold a range of leaflets and can also provide details of other sources of help and information.
The kettle is always on. Have a biscuit or piece of cake (usually made by one of our members). Whilst you have a chat, why don’t you check out our book bank, bra bank, our range of merchandise, crafts and greeting cards on sale. All proceeds of which are reinvested back into the Charity.
Whether you want access to our services, obtain information, or become part of what makes our Charity great – our membership – you can always be assured of a warm welcome at HER Breast Friends.
It’s whatever you want it to be!
