750 Mile Cycle Challenge for HER Breast Friends

Lovely member Sandra May’s son, Paul has challenged himself to ride 750 miles,  to raise funds for HER Breast Friends.

With his two daughters, Nyah aged 12 and Ciara aged 11 they had planned to fundraise in 2020 with the goal of raising £1,000 for HER Breast Friends but sadly,  due to COVID-19,  these plans have been postponed, although Nyah and Ciara will be joining their Dad on parts of his cycle challenge

2020 is the 10 year anniversary of Paul’s Mum and the girls Grandma Sandra, first being diagnosed with breast cancer. In this time Sandra has survived breast cancer twice, skin cancer and had a hip replacement!   They think she is incredibly resilient and an inspiration to everyone and are so proud of her!  We, at HER Breast Friends are very proud of Sandra to!

As a result of the wonderful support Sandra received from HER Breast Friends, Paul and his girls will be doing a number challenges and events to give something back and ensure other cancer patients can have the same care and support their Mum and Grandma did.
