In April 2017 Alan Catleugh took on a challenge to walk from Sheffield to the HER Breast Friends premises in Hull – a distance of 64 miles, in support of his partner Maggie and the Charity. On completing that challenge, Alan said ‘NEVER AGAIN!’.
Well that lasted a couple of hours and before long Alan was talking and planning his next challenge – to cycle Hadrian’s Wall and that’s just what he has done!!!
On Saturday 31st March 2018 Alan, along with fellow cyclists Will Bushman, Andy Snowball, Tony Walmslay and Mally Davison, took to the challenge and cycled over 70 miles, climbing a total of 3620 ft. The weather conditions were very cold but thankfully stayed dry with all 5 riders successfully conquering the challenge!

The intrepid cyclists were cheered on by their back up team; Maggie Bushman, Jess Griffin, Sally Snowball, Linda Walmslay and Becky Davison who made sure all pit stops were suitably stocked and a celebratory drink was waiting for them at the finishing line.
Wow!! What another incredible achievement …. You really are all amazing!! THANK YOU so much for supporting Maggie and the Charity once again and we can’t wait to hear what your next challenge is going to be……
