Breast Challenge for HER Breast Friends

2020 is the year HER Breast Friends celebrates 15 years of supporting local people affected by breast cancer.

Unfortunately due to COVID 19 all our planned fundraising and celebratory events have been cancelled!

However for Breast Cancer Awareness Month we want to get everyone involved in their own ‘personal breast challenge’, an easy and fun way, in the comfort of your own home or selected venue to raise as much money as possible to support local people affected by breast cancer

Get your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you, and raise as much as you can to support HER Breast Friends. Maybe center your challenge around the number 15 or 1 and 5 in celebration of our 15th year! 

Send us your photos or videos to circulate on our social media platforms and receive a Certificate on completion.

Considering the new government guidance, we understand that somethings may be concerning for our supporters regarding hosting certain events such as a coffee morning, cake or tombola stall etc safely, therefore we want to highlight how important it is to ensure people feel comfortable and that no government guidelines are broken. 

There are many way in which you can still make your Challenge/event work safely this year.

Take your challenge/event online. This is the perfect opportunity to get together with your friends and family, play some games, do the HER Breast Friends Quiz and eat some cake. Set up a QR code to make for quick, easy, virtual donations.

If setting up a stall outside your house, it will allow people to pass by whilst socially distancing and use your QR code for cash free donations 

Remember the rule of 6, socially distance however you host it, however much you raise, every penny counts, and will make a huge difference.
