Our HER Breast Friends Wednesday Crafters and Volunteers have been making beautiful ornaments to hang on our Christmas Tree entries in the Beverley Minster and the Hull Minster as part of eth Christmas festivities.
On 30th November, lovely members Sue, Margaret and Sheila went to the Beverley Minter to decorate the tree for the festival to open on 1st December 2023… You can visit Beverley Minster until 4pm on Sunday 10th December to see the magnificent display of 133 trees… and vote for your favorite tree… HER Breast Friends Tree Number 72 of course!
The Beverley Minster Tree called ‘The Tree of Hope’ is decorated in beautiful handmade ornaments using a range of crafting skills including quilling.
On 5th December lovely member Kath and Suzanne went to the Hull Minster, where they chatted to the Lord Mayor of Hull, about all the amazing services and activities HER Breast Friends offers local people affected by breast cancer and other illnesses. You cannot miss the Charity tree as it is the only pink one! The Hull Minster Christmas Tree Festival is open now, until 23rd December…
