When Julia Braithwaite sadly passed earlier this year, Daughter-in-Law Laura Pinder, and close friends Maxine and Paula decided they wanted to celebrate Julia’s life, whilst raising funds for HER Breast Friends and The Queens Centre, Castle Hill Hospital. So, on 11th May 2024, they held a fundraising event to celebrate Julia, at Hessle Rugby Club.
On 12th September, Laura, Maxine and Paula arrived at HER Breast Friends to present a donation of £712.76!

Julia was a member and friend of HER Breast Friends and enjoyed our Pink Pamper Day on many occasions. This donation will help the Charity to support local people affected by breast cancer, in so many ways!!…. Thank you xx
