Once again HER Breast Friends are holding their annual Pink Butterfly Walk. This year the walk will be around our City of Culture on Sunday 1st October 2017.
The walk is open for all to enjoy, regardless of age and ability – you can also bring the dog along (providing it is on a lead and you clean up after any toilet stops!)
Registration is just £5 per person with children under 12yrs going free (although they must be accompanied by a paying adult).
On the day, registration will be at the HER Breast Friends gazebo situated at the Bandstand in Queens Gardens from 9:30am till 10am, where you can also collect your ‘pack’ including map, fun quiz and butterfly wings!
Choose from 2 walks, both starting at 10am: The full ‘Fish Trail’ which takes approximately 1.5 hours or a shorter stroll taking approximately 40 minutes. Neither is regarded as too strenuous and each walk will be led by a guide. Both walks are deemed wheelchair and buggy friendly.
The walk is for you and your family to enjoy whilst taking in some of Hull’s iconic sights. At the finish a cold drink will be available from the HER Breast Friends gazebo.
Certificates will be awarded to all those who complete either walk. (Please note that the HER Breast Friends desk in Queens Gardens will close at 2pm)
