Last weekend once again saw the annual Beverley Christmas Tree Festival, held at the iconic Beverley Minster. Over 90 trees were on display, each beautifully and individually decorated and adorned with fairy lights by charities, organisations, companies and causes. What greeted you upon entering the Minster was breathtaking!
HER Breast Friends Craft Club created a wonderful GINGERBReAd Tree, with hand-made gingerbread people wearing pink bras. Each gingerbread person was lovingly designed, stitched and given its’ own personality, before being hung on the tree for all to enjoy.
The public came in their droves and voted for their favourite tree, with HER Breast Friends taking an amazing 3rd place!
Huge congratulations to Abbie’s Fund for finishing in 1st place and The British Legion for coming in 2nd place and a massive well done to all who entered.
Many congratulations to all our Craft Club for their beautiful design and creation not to mention their dedication, time and effort in making each of these little figures – they really are beautiful! Next year’s tree is already being planned…..
