On Wednesday 12th June, our Wednesday Crafters welcomed lovely Trustee Colleen and member Kara, to show them the art of Quilling.
Quilling is the art of rolled, shaped, and glued paper that results in creating a unified, decorative design.
As a group project, the Wednesday Crafters, along with Colleen and Kara, are designing and decorating a large MDF HER Breast Friends logo butterfly template, which will hang in the Charity premises once finished …
Day one complete and the Butterfly is half way finished and looking incredible!!
The ladies had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, learning this beautiful new skill… not forgetting all the chatting, laughing, tea/coffee plus tucking into delicious treats, baked by our lovely Crafter Sue!!
A huge thank you to Colleen and Kara for organising the day and teaching our Crafters this beautiful skill… you are stars!!
Our Wednesdays Crafters meet every Wednesday afternoon between 12noon and 3pm – First floor, The Octagon, Walker Street, Hull. Anyone is welcome to join in, no need to book, just pop along.
