Terrific Teresa Donates £280.00

HER Breast Friends member Teresa joined the Charity after being diagnosed.  Nervous, and about to start treatment, Teresa made an appointment with our Wig Bank. Jean, one of our volunteer wig fitters, looked after Teresa and made the whole process more relaxed and positive.  Teresa said ‘Jean was wonderful and even made us laugh during our appointment which lightened everyone’s mood’. Teresa walked out of the Charity that day with a smile on her face!

Later,  Teresa decided that she would have her hair shaved off as she was going to lose it anyway.  Teresa’s daughter said that if she was going to do this, why not raise some money for the Charity; to give something back to the Charity, and that’s exactly what she did!

Looking wonderful today, Teresa presented Vice Chair Pam Trays and Charity Support Co-ordinator Jayne Beck with the magnificent £280.00 she raised.
