Trefoil Guild Breast Awareness Talk

Pam and Jayne of the HER Breast Friends Breast Awareness Campaign Team were invited to speak to the East Yorkshire Trefoil Guild AGM held at the Den Guideacres County Campsite, Raywell, on Thursday 9th May 2019. 

We spoke about HER Breast Friends and how the Charity helps support those affected by breast cancer within the local community, also the importance of being breast aware and attending breast screening.

Approximately 70 persons attended, some of whom had heard about the Charity and had previously used our facilities.

Pam and Jayne were presented with beautiful Heart Shaped Cushions and Dammit Dolls, made by the ladies to be used in our Patient Gift Packs for those undergoing surgery for breast cancer, plus a wonderful cheque for £100 donation to the Charity.

Pam and Jayne also received a beautiful flower display each.
