Withernsea Golf Club Charity AmAm Raises Funds for HER Breast Friends

Withernsea Golf Club held a Charity AmAm on Saturday 31st August 2024,  to raise funds for HER Breast Friends.  The day,  organised by Neil Baxter, Wife Sandra and Daughter Zoe, saw 12 teams of 4, playing in the competition, with the winners receiving a round of golf at one of the 7 supporting clubs. There was also a super raffle to help the fundraising total, with fabulous prizes donated by lots of local businesses.

With the sun shining, Chair Pam and Trustee Lynne went along to support the day and meet the teams.  Both said what a wonderful day it was, and how welcoming everyone had been.

On 12th September,  Neil, Sandra and Zoe came along to the Charity to see the difference their donation would make,  and were very impressed with not only the premises, but the warm and friendly feel about the Charity.  After a tour of the Charity,  they presented Chair Pam , Trustee Lynne and Trustee Simon with a cheque for a whopping £2500!
