On Wednesday 26th June 2024, the family of HER Breast Friends Founder, Jan Jones, were invited to come along to officially declare our new premises OPEN!
Daughter Becky, said ‘ Mum would be so proud of how the Charity she founded almost 20 years ago, has grown and can now help so many more people’.
After the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon, the family enjoyed a tour of the new premises, and were overwhelmed, saying ‘It’s huge, beautifully decorated and very impressive!’
Our new premises, boasts comfortable, private dedicated rooms for all our services and activities including; two Buddleia Complementary Therapy Rooms, a Buddleia Beauty Room, a Bra Service Room, a Wig Bank Room, a Person Centred Counselling Room, a large Studio for our Crafters, Exercise Class and Coffee Mornings, plus our Butterfly Room for meetings, training and for hire.
The Charity is hosting an ‘Open House’ event on Thursday 18th July between 12noon and 7pm, when we will open the doors, to anyone and everyone wanting to pop in and see how we support local people.
